The Western Bulldogs have flexed their muscles in a 76-point win over West Coast 16.10 (106) to 3.12 (30) on March 31st, 2024, holding the Eagles to their lowest ever score at Marvel Stadium.
The Bulldogs dominated the game from the start, controlling possession and keeping the Eagles scoreless in the first quarter. West Coast managed to kick three goals in the third quarter, but the Bulldogs responded with a flurry of goals in the final term to seal the victory.
Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge praised his team's performance, saying, "We played a really good game today. We were really disciplined and we controlled the tempo of the game."
Eagles coach Adam Simpson was disappointed with his team's performance, saying, "We were outplayed today. The Bulldogs were too good for us."
The win moves the Bulldogs to 2-1 on the season, while the Eagles drop to 1-2. The Bulldogs will next face Hawthorn on April 7th, and the Eagles will face Carlton on April 8th.
